Terms and Conditions
Prizmatik Studio · Effective Oct 19, 2026
This Agreement is entered into between Prizmatik Studio LLC ("Prizmatik Studio," "we," "us," or "our") and the purchaser ("Client," "Customer," or "you") in connection with any custom engraving order placed through Prizmatik Studio's website, Etsy shop, or other sales channels. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth below.
Eligibility
By placing an order, the Client represents that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
Shipping
All Prizmatik Studio products are custom-made to order and shipped exclusively within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Prizmatik Studio does not offer international shipping or shipping to United States territories at this time.
Orders ship within one (1) to five (5) business days of proof approval, via a standard domestic carrier with tracking provided to the email address on file. While risk of loss or damage in transit formally passes to the Client once a package is tendered to the carrier, Prizmatik Studio will work with the Client in good faith to resolve any item lost or damaged during shipping.
Prospective clients located outside the United States are currently unable to place orders. Prizmatik Studio may expand shipping availability in the future.
Returns
Because each Prizmatik Studio piece is custom-made to order, Prizmatik Studio does not accept returns or issue refunds for buyer's remorse, sizing or color preferences, or subjective dissatisfaction with a design the Client has approved prior to production.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved proof, the Client must notify Prizmatik Studio at support@prizmatik.studio within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, including photographs documenting the issue. Upon review, Prizmatik Studio will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or otherwise remedy the issue at no additional cost to the Client. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for resolution.
Materials & Natural Variation
Many Prizmatik Studio pieces are made from natural materials, including wood, stone, and glass. Grain patterns, coloring, veining, and other natural characteristics will vary from piece to piece, and small blemishes or irregularities may be present. These variations are inherent to the material and do not constitute a defect under the Returns section above. Product photos are representative of the general style and quality of each piece, but the exact appearance of the material may differ from what is shown.
Copyright & Terms of Service
By submitting artwork, photographs, text, logos, trademarks, or other content ("Submitted Content") for engraving, the Client represents and warrants that they either own all rights to the Submitted Content or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses to use it for this purpose.
Prizmatik Studio does not independently verify ownership or licensing of Submitted Content and undertakes no obligation to do so. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prizmatik Studio, its owner, and its agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the Client's use of Submitted Content in violation of any third party's intellectual property rights.
Right to Refuse or Cancel an Order
Prizmatik Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, at its sole discretion, including but not limited to orders that:
Request content that is illegal, hateful, obscene, graphic, or otherwise objectionable to Prizmatik Studio;
Are suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment, or chargeback abuse; or
Result from a pricing, listing, or configuration error on our website, Etsy shop, or other sales channels.
If Prizmatik Studio cancels an order under this section, the Client will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that order.
Payment
Payment in full is required at the time of checkout to initiate production. Prizmatik Studio accepts payment through the checkout methods made available on its website, Etsy shop, or other listed sales channels, in United States dollars. Prizmatik Studio does not currently offer installment payment, invoicing, or expedited or rush production.
Order Changes & Cancellations
The Client may request changes to, or cancellation of, an order at no charge at any time before production begins, by contacting production@prizmatik.studio. Once the Client has approved the design proof and production has commenced, the order is final and cannot be modified or canceled, as each piece is fabricated specifically for that order.
Production & Proofing
Prior to production, Prizmatik Studio will provide the Client with a digital proof of the design through its online proofing tool for review and approval. Production will not begin until the Client has approved the proof through the proofing tool. Standard production time is one (1) to five (5) business days following proof approval.
Errors identified prior to the Client's approval will be corrected by Prizmatik Studio at no cost. Once production has begun, any issue arising from an error not identified during the proofing stage will be evaluated and resolved on a case-by-case basis.
Force Majeure
Prizmatik Studio shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to equipment malfunction, material or supply shortages, carrier or shipping delays, labor disputes, acts of God, or governmental orders or restrictions. In the event of such a delay, Prizmatik Studio will notify the Client as soon as reasonably practicable and provide a revised estimated timeline.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Prizmatik Studio's liability for any claim related to your order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
Intellectual Property
All original designs, layouts, templates, and creative materials developed by Prizmatik Studio in connection with an order remain the sole intellectual property of Prizmatik Studio, regardless of whether the Client requested customization. Such materials may not be reproduced, resold, or used to create derivative products without Prizmatik Studio's prior written consent. This section is separate from, and does not limit, the Client's obligations under the Copyright & Terms of Service section above regarding Submitted Content.
Third-Party Clip Art & Licensed Content
Prizmatik Studio's license to use certain third-party clip art within the online proofing tool is limited to enabling the Client to design a proof for Prizmatik Studio to produce. This clip art may not be downloaded, extracted, copied, screenshotted, redistributed, or used for any purpose other than creating a proof for Prizmatik Studio's production. The Client receives no license or ownership rights in the clip art itself — only in the finished physical product incorporating it, once purchased.
For details on how Prizmatik Studio collects, uses, and protects personal information, including the use of photographs of client projects, see our Privacy Policy.
On-Site & Event Engraving Services
In addition to made-to-order shipped products, Prizmatik Studio may provide on-site or live engraving services at a Client's venue, event, or place of business, on dates and terms agreed to in advance. Any such engagement is between the Client and Prizmatik Studio LLC, and not with any individual acting in a personal capacity.
The Client, or the venue hosting the engagement, is responsible for providing adequate space, electrical power, and any permits, venue approvals, or fire marshal requirements needed for on-site equipment operation. Prizmatik Studio is responsible for the safe operation of its own equipment and maintains general liability insurance, with a certificate of insurance available to the Client or venue upon request.
On-site services may be subject to a separate quote, invoice, or statement of work, which will govern in the event of any conflict with these Terms and Conditions as to that engagement.
Governing Law
This Agreement, and any dispute arising from or related to it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
Electronic Acceptance
Approval of a design proof through Prizmatik Studio's online proofing tool constitutes an electronic signature and a legally binding acceptance of the associated order under the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1633.1 et seq.). Once a proof is approved through the tool, the order is treated as confirmed for all purposes under these Terms and Conditions, including the Order Changes & Cancellations and Production & Proofing sections above.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with any order-specific proposal, invoice, or approved proof, constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and Prizmatik Studio regarding its subject matter, and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Acknowledgment
By placing an order, whether through checkout, electronic payment, or other written or electronic confirmation, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
